Epcot’s Chef’s Gala
Tuesday, May 24th, 2011This past Saturday May 21st the 19th annual Chef’s Gala was held at Epcot to help raise money for the Heart of Florida United Way. Hollis was one of 20 selected chefs to present food at this very special event. Hollis has said that this is one of the most elaborate and over the top booths that she has ever created. The photographer from Macbeth photography who was contracted to photograph the Chef’s Gala tweeted that “Sweetbyholly had one of the most creative booths @ Chef’s Gala on Saturday…” In addition to Sweet’s fantastic booth, our cupcakes were to die for! For the chef’s gala we presented 9 cupcakes. Of these 9 cupcakes, 4 new cupcakes were introduced:
A banana cake, marshmallow filling, peanut butter frosting.
A toffee Cake, with milk chocolate frosting
A chocolate cake, with dulce caramel frosting, and salt on top
A lemon cake with strawberry frosting!
By all accounts, this event was a huge success. Not only in the money that was raised for this very special cause, but also in the satisfaction that you could see on all the guests faces after tasting( and bringing home) our delicious Sweet! cupcakes!

Kind Words About Our HollyPops That Went To Alabama!
Thursday, May 19th, 2011Dear Sweet!
Oh my gosh…what a PERFECT dessert the Holly Pops were for our 200 lunches! They are simply AWESOME tasting and made many tornado survivors and volunteers HAPPY! I loved it when one county official came back to where we were set up making the lunches and said someone had taken her Holly Pop and could she PLEASE have another one because her crew was talking about how awesome they were. Where ever we went to hand out lunches, we were sure to point out the AMAZING Holly Pop. I know there are 200 happy mouths across northern Alabama! Our trip was simply God filled and was way too short. We ended up getting to use Kelli’s truck to load and deliver necessary items to specific tornado struck towns all over. We had to call mom and dad to get more money to pay for all the gas. Bottom line is our mission trip was a beautiful success! THANK YOU so much for the Holly Pops…..what a PERFECT gift to those in desperate need : )

Alabama Relief
Friday, May 13th, 2011Marja and Kelli are your local Orlando heroes who had a little bit of help from family, friends, and business. Their journey all begun with a status on Facebook 5-6 days ago. In their Facebook post they asked anyone to help donate money for their trip to Alabama to help with the relief efforts. In a little under a week they raised $1600 and also received many donations from local businesses. Costco donated chips, Big lots donated drinks, and Sweet! donated 200 Hollypops!! Both Marja and Kelli will bring all these donated items to the city of Tuscaloosa, which is a suburb of Birmingham. This mother daughter team plans on making sandwiches and using the donated items to make lunch bags for the volunteers, law enforcement, and survivors. In just a little under a week Marja and Kelli got Fema Certified, received many donations, and packed up a completely full truck to embark on this 10 hour journey to Alabama. Sweet! was happy to be included in their philanthropic efforts, & we will keep you posted with their journey!!!
Check out this video of them before they left for Alabama!!!
