A BIG THANKS to Miss Andi Mans for the great photo shoot she did with Miss Holly and her children. They had a wonderful time shooting with you and the photos are proof!

Andi Mans is a photographer and designer here in Central Florida and spent the day with the Official Sweet! Family and captured them at their home, along with some delicious and “Sweet” cupcakes – making for a sweet and sticky photoshoot

With her 15 year career as a personal chef for top A list celebrities in Los Angeles, Hollis Wilder moved to Orlando with big ideas and opened Sweet By Good Golly Miss Holly. Her cupcakes are the most delicious I have ever tasted. That’s probably why you can check her out on the recently aired Food Network’s Show “Cupcake Wars”, where she won the competition for her Salmon flavored cupcakes! You won’t find this flavor at the store, but other scrumptious delights that will put a smile on anyone’s face. The GM Southeast group put on a Cupcake Crawl around Central Florida and Sweet! got to be a part of it

On August 21st, the group of cupcake and car loving folks drove around Central Florida in “sweet” Chevy vehicles while hopping from one cupcake shop to the next! Sweet! was stop number one for the group. The group enjoyed the delicious flavors that Miss Holly featured on Cupcake Wars as well as enjoyed their free goodies courtesy of GM and taster packs from Sweet! Enjoy the photos below:

Yelp Elite Event @ Sweet!

Sweet! had the pleasure of working with the Yelp Eliters again and this time had the honor to host the Yelp Elite Event this past August. Yelp Eliters came out early Sunday morning to be the first to partake in Miss Holly’s two new flavors before they were even released to the public: White Chocolate Pistachio with a cream filling and whipped raspberry topping and Nutella with a dulce buttercream. They were displaed on a golf themed tower, a play off of the display Miss Holly made for Cupcake Wars.

Yelp Eliters also had the chance to indulge in some delicious frozen yogurt, as well as some Makers Mark – another sponser for the Elite event.

“I cant believe I got to try some of Famous Miss Holly’s cupcakes! I loved watching the cupcake challenge on the Food Network. The little cupcakes were sooooo yummy and I had to stop myself from eating ALL of them.” Arynn I.

Hey everyone! Sweet Will be open tomorow for Labor Day, Monday, September 6th from 10AM to 10 PM.

TOMORROW we will have the white chocolate pistachio and nutella cupcake for sale! Sorry for those who went in today and they were not there but you will definently be able to get your hands on em Monday and for a $1 a pie…ce!

Tails on the Town

Sweet! Will be participating again in the 2nd Annual SPCA of Central Florida and Franklin’s Friends Tails on the Town Fundraiser for 2010. This event is a unique experience for both dining and shopping around Central Florida!

The funds raised from this event will go towards helping homeless animals at local Central Florida SPCA Shelters.

SPCA of Central Florida and Franklin’s FriendsTails on the Town will be selling discount cards for $15 and with this card, you are eligible for discounts around town, including 10% off at Sweet! (Offer not valid on Mini $1 Mondays). Go to www.orlandopets.org to purchase your discount card.
